Step-by-Step Guide to Activating Push Notifications on iOS for Chatbot Builder AI

Internal push notifications in Chatbot Builder AI provide an efficient way to streamline communication and workflow within the platform. By receiving real-time alerts, team members can instantly stay updated on important tasks, user interactions, or chatbot performance. This real-time capability reduces response delays, which can be especially valuable for managing high-priority tasks like customer inquiries or troubleshooting urgent issues.

Push notifications also enhance team coordination. When admins or team members receive instant alerts about assigned tasks or updates, they can respond promptly without having to check inboxes or dashboards constantly. This feature empowers faster decision-making, enabling smoother collaboration, especially in time-sensitive scenarios, and contributes to a more seamless user experience overall.

Step 1: Sign Up and Select Your Channel

  1. Create a New Account:
    • Tap Sign Up to start.
    • Choose a channel—Facebook is recommended for setting up notifications smoothly.
  2. Name Your Bot and tap Continue.

Step 2: Add Chatbot Builder AI to Your Home Screen

  1. Tap the up arrow on your browser and select Add to Home Screen.

  2. Reopen the app using the same channel you initially selected (e.g., Facebook).
  3. Log in again—this step ensures that notifications activate correctly.

Step 6: Final Notification Check

  1. Return to your Inbox.
  2. If the Enable Notifications button isn’t visible, go to Settings > Admin.
  3. Click the three dots next to your name and disable Browser Notifications.
  4. Go back to Inbox to enable notifications.
  5. A green success icon will confirm that notifications are now active.

Step 7: Testing Notifications

  1. Create a flow with a Notify Admin action.
  2. Select your name in the dropdown to receive the notification.
  3. Preview the Flow to test—once triggered, you should receive a push notification.

In Chatbot Builder AI, internal push notifications offer a significant boost to efficiency, team communication, and user experience. By keeping team members informed and responsive, notifications support both individual productivity and collaborative effectiveness, enabling a proactive and streamlined approach to chatbot management and customer interaction.
